Lead Answered (“Lead Answered,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a lead-response service operated by Grovebox LLC. We act on behalf of the businesses (“Contractors”) that use our service to respond to people who contact them. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices — with particular attention to SMS/text messaging.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit a contact or quote-request form on a Contractor’s website, we receive the information you provide, which typically includes:
- Your name
- Your mobile phone number
- Details about the project or service you’re requesting
- Any other information you include in the form or in your text conversation with us
We also keep a record of the SMS messages exchanged so we can assist you and the Contractor.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Text you back on behalf of the Contractor about your request
- Ask questions to understand and qualify your request
- Propose and confirm appointment times
- Notify the Contractor about your request and any booked appointment
Your mobile phone number is used to send you SMS text messages related to your service request.
3. SMS / Text Messaging
By submitting a Contractor’s contact form with your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from us (acting as the Contractor’s assistant) regarding your request.
- Message frequency varies based on your conversation.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out and stop receiving texts.

Data Sharing
- Customer data is not shared with 3rd parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
- Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
Lead Answered Messaging Terms and Conditions
- The messaging program consists of conversational, customer care, and informational one-to-one messages, including answering questions, providing support, account setup and onboarding, scheduling, confirming service details, appointments, and trial follow-up.
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received messages. We will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, sign up again as you did initially.
- If you experience issues, reply HELP or email levi@leadanswered.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on communication needs. Contact your wireless provider with questions about your plan.

4. How We Share Information — and What We Never Share
We share the information you provide with the Contractor you contacted, so they can serve your request. We may also use service providers (such as our SMS provider) solely to operate the service on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number or personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal or recordkeeping requirements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
6. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and we restrict access to authorized personnel only.
7. Your Choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may also contact us at levi@leadanswered.com to ask about, correct, or request deletion of your information.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Cookies & Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how visitors use the site (which pages are viewed, how far people read, what they click) so we can improve it. We use PostHog for this, which may include anonymous session replays and heatmaps. It may set cookies and collect aggregated, non-identifying data such as approximate location (country/region/city), device and browser type, and pages visited. We do not use advertising cookies, and we never sell your data.
Analytics run only after you consent via our cookie banner (we use Google Consent Mode, which keeps these tools off by default until you accept). You can decline at any time, and declining does not affect your use of the site. To change your choice later, clear this site's cookies/site data in your browser and reload. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
